Product name: Sodium Monofluorophosphate (Toothpaste Grade)
Molecular formula: Na2PO3F
Molecular weight: 143.95
brief introduction:
Sodium monofluorophosphate is white powder or white crystal, easily soluble in water with strong hygroscopy, the solubility at 25℃ is 42g/100g water. No side effect and corrosive action, PH (2% aqueous solution) is 6.5---8.0, very stable and compatible, The melting point at 625℃.
Uses:
Sodium monofluorophosphate is one kind of excellent caries preventing agent and tooth desensitizer, mainly used as additive for toothpaste containing fluorine, the common dosage as 0.7---0.8%. and used for fluorination of drinking water, in drinking water is 1.0mg/L, It has outstanding anti-bacterium action, The aqueous solution can inhibit the growth and propagation of mould fungus, aspergillus niger, staphylococcus aureus, salmonella typhosa, pseudomonas aeruginosa, etc. it is also used as antimicrobial, antiseptic, solubility promoter and detergent for oxide on the surface of metal.
